The staggering decline in education is a pressing issue in America, and may quite always be. The statistics only seem to get worse every year, specifically being that the national graduation rate was only at eighty-four percent in 2019 (High School Dropout Rates, educationdata.org). It may seem like a high enough number at first but accompanied with the myriad of other issues taxing the public education system, these numbers just quite frankly are unacceptable. And whenever I find an email or a message in my facebook from a single mother with a similar story to mine I know fully economic hardship and how the system makes it nearly impossible to get back up once you have been kicked down.
My GED Testimony
At the age of seventeen, I dropped out of school to help raise my triplet siblings because my father was in the middle east deployed in the navy, and my mother needed help desperately. I made a conscious decision to leave school in pursuit of taking care of my family. I felt that it was a noble decision, but it had significant consequences on my life in the long run. For seven years, I went from one low wage job to the next, never foreseeing a future out of the loop. Finding the right time to allocate to study was the hardest obstacle, when I looked at the vast GED book. I could not possibly imagine having to go through all those equations. In my heart, I knew that when I was ready to take the GED, I would have to hire a tutor to help me pass it fast because I could not see myself studying for a year.
By providing students in our Nation with such an education, we help save our children from the clutches of poverty, crime, drugs, and hopelessness, and we help safeguard our Nation’s prosperity for generations yet unborn.
Elijah Cummings
Everyone has a tipping point where they can take it no longer and, finding a way to study will be an inevitable cost of passing. For me personally, In August twenty-seventeen, I was pregnant with my second son at 24 years old, and had no GED. With the birth of my son drawing nearer, I had the overwhelming spark that was ignited by the impending future of my family, and what life would look like for us If I didn’t grab the bull by the horns and get serious about college. But before college could even be on the drawing board I had to pass the math GED. To pass the GED, my family assisted me in hiring a tutor. I gained very valuable knowledge that literally could only be accomplished through tutoring. After I passed the test I knew that I had experienced a miracle, the miracle of self will. My will was strong enough to break past the chains of poverty, and reach for something more. In an effort to bring that spark out in the person reading these words that may be looking for the answer, I made several videos about my experience with passing the test, what I felt were ideal study methods for this specific test.
Tutoring with a GED/ASVAB specific tutor is what I recommend so that you know the individual knows the core subjects of the test and that your not wasting your time on subjects that are not relevant.

The Damn Ferris Wheel GED Question
After passing the GED I knew that I had to share the information I had learned. I received such positive feedback from the videos that an early start up Covcel offered me a position as a market-research analyst consulting for their education platform. In my position consulting, we tackled many issues with modern testing preparation companies that don’t have a genuine tailored platform, with fair rates. Additionally, specifically tailored videos that are shaped for amounts of time desirable for learning; was an ultimate objective as well. Overall, the market for education learning platforms are biased (including the Pearson’s testing preparations). Many standardized testing companies often manipulate their pre-tests to be inaccurate, and operate more like a casino than a company that supposedly trying to help U.S citizens attain an unbiased means of attaining the dream of higher education.
Covcel offers the client assurance that they will see attainable results with their unique test preparation model. Their model speaks too a different age of liberation from Big Business testing companies that have largely been dominating the industry. In an in depth investigative business study conducted by Politico into the relationship of Pearson’s business dealings with the United States, it has been discovered that the North American public officials continued to purchase from Pearson even with it’s downward trajectory in offering real results (No Profit Left Behind, Simon, 2015). With that being said, the 300 comments on my videos doesn’t lie, and I know that the method that Covcel teaches is au courant in the standardized testing industry.
