A few weeks ago, I noticed the ads on my Instagram feed for Nicole Richie’s new show on Quibi streaming app Nikki Fresh. I was curious and downloaded the app to see what her new rap music was all about, and to my surprise, when I listened to her music, I loved it! I believe that her audience is untapped at this point but that the possibilities of her music are limitless, and could potentially explode. The demographic of her audience will be quite comprehensive when the environmental community becomes more aware of her objectives.
Through the lenses of environmental engineering, public perception of the environmental movement will be a crucial player in curbing negative understanding of the laws and practices that will have to be put in place in the next decade to save the world. That being said we will begin to see more Socio-Psychology being integrated in media and our everyday lives in order to encourage and prepare society.
Representation of the movement is intrinsic for its success, as well as not demoralizing the movement by perpetuating politics within a bi-partisan movement. The destruction of the earth is an everyone problem, not a partisan problem. Hopefully, both parties will realize that sooner or later.
